Samarium Cobalt Magnets, also known as SmCo or Sm2Co17 magnets, are
a type of rare earth permanent magnet. SmCo magnets offer a
combination of high magnetic properties and excellent resistance to
demagnetization, making them ideal for applications that require
high performance in extreme environments. As compared to other
magnets, Samarium Cobalt Magnets are lightweight and have a high
resistance to corrosion. They can be used in a variety of
industrial applications, such as spaceflight, national defense,
microwave, and sensors. SmCo magnets are available in several
grades, such as YXG-26H, YXG-30H, YXG-28, YXG-30, and YXG-32, and
can be magnetized through axial, thickness, or customized. SmCo
magnets are also available in an uncoated version.
